Both #startups and well established companies seek #entrepreneurialspirit to be instilled in their teams. That’s beacause talented professionals with #entrepreneurial spirit: are willing to take risks, are not afraid to fail, don’t focus on what others think of them, are motivated by the growth of the business, experiment, learn, apply, share and partner. Once we are able to hire the entrepreneurially spirited, we must provide them with an outlet for their creativity and ambition. And also remember to incentivise them for their unique contribution rather than fold it into the entire team’s efforts. A person with an entrepreneurial mindset is not essentially an #entrepreneur. It is important to consider whether we want to hire entrepreneurs, as they will be more focused on their personal projects and independence- and these would need to be accomodated. If we don’t want our organisation to be more of a stepping stone on their career path, we might opt for the entrepreneurially spirited and find them better matched with the company goals and culture.
